SAY “I DO” TO A $500 SHOPPING SPREE AND FREE LIMO RIDE CONTEST

These rules are for the SAY “I DO” TO A $500 SHOPPING SPREE AND FREE LIMO RIDE Contest (“the Contest”), starting Monday, July 13, 2009 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ending Friday, October 30, 2009 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Entry into the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules, terms and conditions.

ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Purchase will not improve chances of winning. The Contest is open to legal United States residents who reside in one of the following Florida counties: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Citrus, Pasco, Hernando or Manatee. Eligible entrants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, except that employees of the Times Publishing Company, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, contest prize suppliers, and participating advertisers and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” means parents, siblings, spouses, children, grandparents and grandchildren, whether by current or past marriage, remarriage, adoption or cohabitation, and anyone living in the same household, whether related or not. Times Publishing Company’s determination as to eligibility is final and binding.

HOW TO ENTER
There is one way to enter:
1) Fill out an Official Entry Form online at: http://contests.tampabay.com/weddingcontest by Friday, October 30, 2009 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

No other methods of entry will be accepted, and only one entry per person is permitted. The deadline for receipt of entries is Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at 4 p.m. ET. Incomplete entries are null and void and ineligible to win. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

No mechanically reproduced entries will be honored. The Times Publishing Company is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries or for any computer, electronic, telephone, cable, or network hardware or software malfunction or failures of any kind, or for any other problems or errors in modes of transmission, or for any other human or technical error.

All entries become the property of the Times Publishing Company. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor may use information submitted to contact entrant and/or to offer Sponsor’s products or services.

PRIZE

One (1) Contest prize will be awarded, and there will be one (1) winner of the Contest. The one (1) Winner will receive a $500 VISA gift card for a wedding shopping spree provided by Times Publishing Company and one (1) limo ride, which must be redeemed within one (1) year from receiving the prize, and used in the vicinity of Tampa Bay. Other restrictions may apply.

The VISA gift card is valued at $500.00
The Limo Ride is valued at $700.00
The total prize package is valued at $1,200.00.

No alternative prize, cash or other substitution is permitted except that in the event of prize unavailability, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes are not transferable or assignable by the Winner.

All federal, state and local taxes, fees, and surcharges (except as specifically included in the prize package), and any necessary or appropriate insurance, are the responsibility of the Winner. The Winner agrees to pay all such taxes, fees, and surcharges and is responsible for furnishing proof of insurance if and as required by law. The Winner must complete a W-9 tax form provided by the Times Publishing Company prior to taking possession of the prize certificate.

Any transportation required for the Winner to take possession of or make use of the prize is the Winner’s responsibility and will not be furnished by the Sponsor. Winner and Winner’s guest making use of the prize must agree to hold the Sponsor harmless from any and all liability for damages or losses of any nature incurred in connection with use of the prize, including transit to and from any destination in connection with the prize.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER
The Winner will be selected on Friday, October 30, 2009 in an automated, random drawing, and will be notified by email and/or phone. If the Winner does not respond to the notification within forty-eight hours, or the Winner does not meet all eligibility requirements including, but not limited to, completion of a W-9 form and both the Winner and the guest signing the Affidavit and Release referred to below, an alternate Winner will be selected by random drawing. The Winner must produce adequate proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or photo I.D. card, in order to take possession of the prize. Entry into the Contest and being declared the Winner cannot violate any then-existing contractual obligation of Entrant, or else the Entry is void.

AFFIDAVIT AND RELEASE
The Winner and the Winner’s guest will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and General Release, which includes an affirmation of eligibility, a release and waiver of legal claims, and consent to publicity. Failure, either by Winner or guest, to complete and sign the Affidavit of Eligibility and General Release will result in forfeiture of the prize and its award to another Winner chosen by random drawing.

For the name of the Winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope postmarked before December 1, 2009 to: Say “I do” to a $500 Shopping Spree and a Free Limo Ride Contest,” tbt* Tampa Bay Times, P.O. Box 413, St. Petersburg, FL 33731-0413.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
By entering the Contest, the entrant, for him/herself and for his/her guests, heirs, executors, administrators, assigns and anyone else claiming by or through him/her, waives, covenants not to sue and fully releases and forever discharges any and all rights, claims or causes of action whatsoever that he/she may have against Sponsor arising directly or indirectly out of entrant’s participation in the Contest. For purposes of this waiver and release, “Sponsor” includes Times Publishing Company and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees. This waiver and release covers, without limitation, any damage, liability, cost, attorneys’ fees and expenses whatsoever, whether known or unknown and whether foreseeable or not.

Sponsor reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in printing, the offering, or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.
